What Makes Me, Me.
Artist’s statement
These Images are of myself, and a few other things that make me who I am.
My selfie
My selfie shows me with my normal resting face. It expresses nothing, for it is how I would look when my emotions are neutral. My eyebrows are usually resting, along with the rest of my face muscles. I usually have sometimes an angry more serious look, or sometimes a tired look but I assure you, I’m in a state of not emotion.
My Message?
What I am trying to show, is that all the things behind me, are like the branches that make up my life and who I am. The image on the bottom left is of my girlfriend, who has done numerous things for me, so much in fact that I couldn’t write it all on paper. She represents my emotions, emotions that keep me saying. The Image above that is my Yamaha YZ 250f. Ever sense age 10, motocross has been a part of my life and it has given me a new appreciation for motorcycles. The image on the top right is from a duck hunting trip in arkansas. Hunting is also one of my major hobbies that makes me who I am. And finely, the last image is of my powerlifting team here at skyline. We are all new to the sport, but we’ve really made a good start for ourselves and are constantly improving. I wouldn’t trade these things for anything else, because they are the most important assets of my life.
